This was the best of the KOA's that we've stayed at. Clean, well manicured and well taken care of. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and were impressed with this park. The only thing that kept it from being a 10 was the lack of shade. But the trees are growing! We saw roadrunners, rabbits, and quail.
This park has a long way to go to be in the list of best parks. Cabins are new and nice, showers are new and nice even though we didn't use them. I did look them over though. They had a fire 2 years ago and they still don't have their office and store rebuilt. The pool was not open either. The dump station is only accessible when you pull in so if you need it when you are leaving you have to drive around the campground twice. Water pressure was lousy. We were told that they have to truck in all their water as there is no water table where they are. The WiFi was weak also. This may be because there is no office right now so maybe we were lucky to have WiFi at all.
